Choppies Appoints Mogae Chairman of the Group Former President Mr Festus Mogae has been appointed Chairman of the Choppies Group. Choppies, one of the fastest growing supermartkets in the country announced the appointment of Mogae recently in a press statement. “The ownership, shareholders and staff of Choppies are delighted to make public the appointment of Mr Festus Mogae to the position of Chairman of the Choppies Group of Companies,” read the statement. The announcement comes shortly after the former president was named the winner of the Ibrahim-Mo Leadership Award. National Internship Programme Registration The Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs has announced that the registration for the National Internship Programme will start on the 3rd November 2008 in Gaborone and on the 4th November 2008 at other places. The registration forms are available at the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs Headquarters in Gaborone and at all the Civil and National Registration (OMANG) offices countrywide. All registration forms submitted should be accompanied by a certified copy of Omang, certified copies of certificates or transcripts where necessary and a CV/resume.
