Clear Channel Independent Flights A New Face!
Independent News & Media (South Africa) (Pty) Limited has acquired Clear Channel Outdoor’s 50 percent interest in Clear Channel Independent [‘CCI’] – Africa’s largest outdoor advertising company, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. INM has owned CCI as a joint venture with Clear Channel Outdoor since 2001, and this transaction simplifies and takes INM’s ownership interest to 100 percent..
Because of Clear Channel having sold their interest in our business, we are no longer entitled to use the name “Clear Channel”, which is an internationally established brand, hence our need to change the names of all of our statutory entities across Africa and re-brand our billboards.
The company’s new trading name, in both South Africa and Africa, is INM Outdoor (Pty) Ltd. Branded across our territories as simply…… INM Outdoor.

Colgate Competition
On Saturday the 15th of November we are holding a ‘Colgate Hands on Competition’ at Riverwalk Shopping Centre. There will be 18 competitors taking part in the competition. They will all stand around the car with BOTH hands placed on their place of choice on the car. Once their hands are on the car, they cannot move them. As soon as they lift one hand off the car, they are out of the competition. The last person left standing with both their hands still on the car will win the car!
The competition will start at 09h30 in the morning and will carry on until there is only one person left standing with their hands on the car, so it could go on for days!
