Two UB Academics Now Full Professors |

The University of Botswana has promoted two members of the academic staff to the apex of academia as full professors. They are Professor Emmanuel Quansah who becomes full Professor of Law and Professor Nettimi Narayana as Professor of Economics. Before these latest appointments, the University had announced the promotion of Professor Musa Dube of Theology and Religious Studies as full Professor and Professor Akintayo Adedoyin as Associate Professor of Physics, both being citizens of Botswana. Professor Quansah, a Ghanaian, joined the University of Botswana on 12 September 1989 from the University of Calabar in Nigeria. His research interests are family law, succession, evidence, criminal law, company law, clinical legal education, environmental law and comparative legal systems. He was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2002. Professor Narayana, a citizen of India, joined the University of Botswana as Associate Professor on 7 April 1987. He was recruited from Sri Krishnadevaraya University in India. His research interests are development economics, economics of agriculture and rural development, gender studies and informal sector development.
