As a rule I agree with you, but there are certainly exceptions to the rule.

I'm a Zimbabwean white girl, the daughter of a farmer who was given 24hrs to leave everything and get lost. So it's understandable that I'd agree with you, however my best friend is a black girl. I am a white many having lived happily amongst people of all races in Africa for the past 37 Years.
Having met many people – some weirder than others – I know exactly where you are coming from. Controversy is the best way of attracting attention – you got it – and I am happy to play the game with you.
You are right WHITE is beautiful although at times I wish I was black. Take the sunburn on my delicate skin. While my African friends enjoy a delicious evening meal I have to treat my flaking and peeling skin and at bed time I toss and turf to find the least agonising position to sleep.
But of course there are more serious reasons why white - and not black - is beautiful. Have a good look at all the inventions the white man has come up with. Firearms for example. It gave us “whites” the edge over any other race. We finally could enforce our supremacy in all four corners of the earth. And so we did! We, for example, indiscriminately killed hundreds of thousands of innocent, peace loving nomadic Indians in America. The young the old, women children you name it – and we were so proud of being white and superior. When the job was done we hand the surviving few an alien religion and alcohol in big quantities to make them forget their proud past. Just imagine if we had failed in our great quest to rule the world - unthinkable!
Of course this was the dark past when killing was a messy business and required individual involvement. But practice makes perfect and by the middle of the 20th Century the white man had sufficient experience to kill fellow human beings of different colour or creed by much more sophisticated means. A few million were professionally slaughtered and disposed off in concentration camps. But this too was yet a little to cumbersome and by the grace of god some smart white man constructed the A- Bomb. With two of these little guys dropped over Japan people just vaporised. Aren’t we great? I am so happy to belong to such a cool and noble race.
Of course we have progressed yet again over the past half a century.
Our game is almost perfect now. We are politically correct always. That is why the white man now is only starting wars when it is in the interest of peace, democracy and oil. Well I am so glad that you have chosen to belong to the master race – you are welcome. Perhaps one day you can harvest the fruit on all the crosses the white man has planted all over the world. I think the author's view is very limited.
To think of the black man plight you have to consider a whole lot of aspects.

Africans before the white man arrived were successfull in their own right, that is, if success is not defined the white man's way. e.g. Owning a car has become a definition of success. that came from the white man. In the old african system, success was judged and defined differently.

Our current state of plight is a result of the misleading systems we adopted from the white man. It started with Christian values through to the Schoool systyem which has kept us prisoners in our quest to be like the white man.

WE WERE EXPLOTED AND WE ARE LIVING THE FRUITS OF EXPLOITATION. Its not about being black.
