*Chiefs  to sign Dirang, Nandos?
*Casim labels Talk-Talk selfish
*More GU raid on Centre Chiefs
*BDF XI lose Marumo

Mascom Premier League pace setters, Mochudi Centre Chiefs hope to sign Notwane's enterprising midfielder, Dirang  Moloi outside the transfer window. The transfer window was shut after January 31 but Centre Chiefs spokesman, Clifford Mogomotsi remains upbeat. Dirang, who recently wrote a resignation letter to Notwane, will play for Centre Chiefs this term.
" Notwane are being un-cooperative. The player has no interest in playing for them. Our chairman approached Notwane officials about the  acquisition of Dirang. They promised to give us an offer, but by the time the transfer window closed, Notwane had still not tabled us an offer for the player.  We have not yet  taken up the case with higher authorities, but we are confident the matter will be resolved and Dirang will play for us  very soon", Mogomotsi told Gazette Sport.
Dirang is said to be staying with his Centre Chiefs brother, Pontsho, at a Centre Chiefs' house at the moment.
Mogomotsi also confirmed to Gazette Sport they are fighting to finalize the transfer of Township Rollers' striker Sekhana Koko also known as Nandos. The matter has been referred to the Status Committee after Township Rollers demanded P25 000 for the player's transfer. However  Mogomotsi says Centre Chiefs do not believe P25 000 is the fair valuation of the player, and have since taken up the matter with the Status Committee for arbitration.
" The Status Committee has assured us the complainants that  it will meet as soon as the transfer window has closed to determine matters arising from the transfer activities. So we are confident Nandos will play for us".
Initially Centre Chiefs' interest in Nandos was triggered by the possibility of  their star striker Jerome Ramatlhakwane joining South African side, Cape Town Santos, but indications are that  Ramatlhakwane will not be joining the SA side at least for now, as he returned home over the weekend with no transfer effected.
Meanwhile Extension  Gunners spokesman, Cassim Dada has labeled former Gunners captain, Tshepo Talk Talk Motlhabankwe as selfish, after both parties failed to agree on personal terms last week.
" We had an initial agreement, but now when we met last week he  shifted goal posts and doubled his salary demands.  We told him we could not meet his demands. He was holding us at ransom, and Gunners is not a small team to be held at ransom. He was just demanding too much from us, and we felt it  better to  concentrate on the welfare of the entire team rather than  spending all the resources on just one player. That is how we ended our talks with him (Talk-Talk)".
Cassim has also revealed that  Gunners has released eight players on free transfers and that half of them have already found  new homes. However he said Gunners was unable to sign Bonolo Fraser from Ecco City Greens, or their coach Bary Daka, who in the past week were rumoured to be on their way to Gunners. " Daka is an honest coach. He is committed to Ecco.  He is not our coach ( for now), but our search for a capable coach is still on." Cassim told Gazette Sport.
Meanwhile GU continued their raid on Centre Chiefs  last week by capturing Noah Stooge Kareng and Aaron Kale, both versatile midfielders. GU thought they had another Centre Chiefs player Mara Moloi in their books on January 31st before things changed. By 7pm last week Thursday, there were jubilations at GU camp as news spread that GU had Mara's blue book, but things had changed the following morning.
GU chairman Kelisitse Gilika said. " Yes, we had Mara's blue book, but later on the night of January 31st, before 12 midnight, Mara had written to the Premier League withdrawing  from GU." Gilika also said they were on the verge of signing Ecco City's Mandlenkosi Sibanda, also known as Sukunyetsa, but Ecco made a counter offer to the player to stay.
However GU will feel comfortable up front after  they suspended the sale of top striker  Sageby Sandaka to Nyathi Lions until  the end of the season. Sandaka is back home and was expected to feature against BDF XI for their Tuesday 7pm- 2nd round league match at the National stadium.
In the meantime BDF XI coach Stan Tshosane  has confirmed they have lost no.1 goal keeper Modiri Marumo to an Egyptian club. " He has already signed personal terms with the club. We are sending international clearance so he can start playing. He is in Egypt as we speak, and will come back just to resign from the army and pursue a professional football career", Tshosane said in an interview.
The BDF XI mentor also revealed that he signed strikers  Olivier Kayambo from Nico United,  and Mokgathi Mokgathi from Tasc, while another former Tasc defender and Captain Ernest Amos joins them. Initially Township Rollers thought they had a deal with Amos, and a fortnight ago Township Rollers chairman announced in a Gazette Sport interview that they have sealed a deal with the player.
