With the theme, “Your Spring Shopping Oasis” Batswana are assured of a “one stop shop where everything you need is available all under one roof and at the right prices,” states Mr Mike Montshiwa, Chief Executive Officer of Fairground Holdings. An abundance of goods and services ranging from clothing and footwear to motor dealers and machinery will be showcased allowing the consumer to come into contact with retailers, wholesalers and service providers. Consumers are encouraged to take advantage of the various stakeholders that will be stationed, giving quality advice on consumer rights.
On the entertainment side, Orange Botswana will be hosting the local music and dance shows keeping both young and old well entertained throughout the Fair. Merging borders, Duma Fm in collaboration with Motswedi Fm will be broadcasting live from the Fairgrounds. Our very own Lapologa Magazine will also be there and situated at stalls 34 and 35. On the evening of the 30th August, one can expect a firework spectacular marking the Fair’s finale. This promises to be a truly refreshing all round family experience.
The Consumer Fair will run from the 25-31 August 2008 with gates opening from 9.00am to 7pm. Ticket prices for adults are P20 and P10 for children. Contact 3975555 for further details.
